BEN SALFIELD has been acclaimed in the international media as one of the world’s leading solo lutenists since the early 1990s. For 25 years he toured in up to ten countries annually; he has also broadcast regularly for the BBC and independent stations on TV and radio across Europe, has seen over a dozen music editions published, and is known as an international lecturer and teacher.
Apart from solo concerts, he has performed in numerous ensembles, presenting music as diverse as renaissance lute duets and contemporary Latin jazz rock. Since 2013, Salfield has performed on a 10-course guitar that was especially designed and built for him. His performances in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Slovakia have been especially noted in the international media, and he has performed in football stadia for over 13 thousand, plus seen his music broadcast by BBC World for an estimated 12 million people.
Nowadays, he rarely performs solo, but the BenOla Duo project marks the beginning of a new and exciting phase in his musical life as he prepares to take music back on the road again – having come out of retirement after several years

ALEKSANDRA SAPOK is the dynamic young Polish classical guitarist who is currently taking Europe by storm. The double winner of Poland’s Young Guitarist of the Year graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and has since performed in Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and the UK to critical acclaim, also achieving notable success in numerous international music competitions.
Aleksandra has worked with many of the world’s leading virtuosi and studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Manuel Castillo in Sevilla, during which time she performed at the prestigious Real Alcazar Palace.
